Forge Wallet is a non-custodial Ethereum wallet extension. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers.

Data Storage

• Local Storage Only: All wallet data (private keys, seed phrases, transaction history) is stored locally on your device using Chrome's encrypted storage API
• No Cloud Backup: We do not back up your data to any cloud service
• User Control: You have complete control over your data and can delete it at any time by uninstalling the extension

Data We Do NOT Collect

• Personal information (name, email, phone)
• IP addresses or device identifiers
• Browsing history or activity
• Transaction details or wallet balances
• Any analytics or tracking data

Third-Party Services

The extension connects to blockchain services to function properly:

• Blockchain RPC Providers (Alchemy, Infura): To read blockchain data
• Price APIs (Binance, CoinGecko): To display token prices
• Etherscan API: To fetch transaction history
• LI.FI API: For cross-chain bridge quotes

These services may have their own privacy policies. We do not share any personal information with these services.

Permissions Used

• storage: To save wallet data locally on your device
• activeTab: To interact with web3 applications when you explicitly connect
• tabs: To open transaction confirmation windows
• notifications: To notify you of transaction status

Security

• All sensitive data is encrypted locally using industry-standard encryption
• Private keys never leave your device
• No remote access to your wallet
• No analytics or telemetry

Your Responsibilities

As a non-custodial wallet:

• You are responsible for securely storing your seed phrase
• We cannot recover lost wallets or seed phrases
• Always verify transaction details before confirming
• Keep your device secure

Your Rights

You can delete all data by:

1. Uninstalling the extension from Chrome
2. Using Chrome's "Clear browsing data" feature and selecting "Extensions"

Children's Privacy

Forge Wallet is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
